Being Taught From My Wagering Errors

First to clarify why I write this article. I have been betting on the web or at physical betting houses for a great many years. I have learned, the addiction can take a hold of you and you won’t even notice it until you are penniless. Particularly if you are on a winning streak. I’ve gone through many thousands of dollars in a very tiny amount of time and still on occasion, I’ll go too far. It appears you’re just having a blast until you decide to be aware of your defeats and the guilt settles in, and then you continue to tell yourself "I can win it back" constantly. It does not works. Then you feel sick in your stomach and the harder you try the quicker you lose.

When you notice that you are ahead, remain on the UP! When you start to lose, don’t tell yourself, "well perhaps just one more" and again and again, trust me, this method RARELY ever functions. Say you are betting on slots, have an amount put aside before beginning your play. Don’t exceed that limit, no matter how tempting. If you happen to succeed, put that in a different cup. Don’t risk your successes no matter what. As soon as you’ve gone through your original set limit, stop. Head out, whether it’s on the web or at a land-based betting house, don’t stick around. Always remember, there will be a different day, a different time.

Keep in mind, betting is assumed to be FUN not exhausting, nauseating work! If you aren’t having fun yourself, you don’t belong there. If youcan’t manage the loss, do not even start.
